The Orville can be expensive to produce and doesn’t have a huge audience, so season 4 is unlikely. It was not indicative of the show’s true nature. It was like you were hearing every gag in the pilot, one after the other, when in fact they were very sparse and the main focus was on the story. It didn’t help us, at least in terms of how the show was received from critics.
