Josh Tepper Releases New Single ‘Poison Apple’

An anthem about breaking away from toxicity.

The inspiration for Josh Tepper's new song, "Poison Apple", comes from experiencing a toxic environment a little over a year ago. The song is about leaving toxicity and learning that sometimes the shiniest things can come with many negative aspects. In other words, "Poison Apple" is the anthem for taking back one's freedom, leaving the negativity, and staying strong. The recurring line, "Don't wanna eat your poison apple", in the song represents not biting into someone's toxic and abusive control and encouraging people to stand up for and extricate themselves from these destructive situations.

Raised in New York City, he attended the prestigious Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts as a vocal major. He continued his studies at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, where he majored in Cinema Studies.

Josh has also released three other songs, "Built Me", "Always Everywhere", and "Walking in Memphis (Cover)". He will be performing these songs throughout New York City.
