Her Platinum Crown will be released on Friday 30th September with all proceeds from the single going to Cruse Bereavement Support, a charity which the late Queen was a patron of. Olga Thomas is a world-renowned classical composer, who has had a lifelong admiration and passion for the Royal family and has been for many years a supporter of Cruse Bereavement Support, a charity she holds very dear to her heart.

Olga has spent a lot of time, energy, and creative musical craftsmanship on behalf of the charity. Some years ago, Cruse began a unique music program, a tradition to give their patron, Her Majesty The Queen special gifts of music composed by Olga to commemorate the important events in the lives of the Royal Household.

The single has been a deeply personal and emotional journey for Olga, who had the pleasure of meeting the Queen personally on a couple of occasions. Having grown up in Russia where there was no royalty, Olga’s love for England and the monarchy began as a little girl, watching from afar from her hometown of Moscow. When Olga relocated to London over 30 years ago, it was one of her greatest joys to be able to compose music for the Royal Family.

Over the years Olga has written many musical pieces for Cruse including Cruse’s anthem ‘Restoring Hope’ and several of her pieces have been presented to Her Majesty the Queen. Olga’s most recent project was with The British Monarchist Society who she worked with to produce a brand-new single to celebrate Her Majesty The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. The single went straight to number one in the Classical iTunes chart. Olga had the pleasure of discussing her love and admiration of the Queen in many high-profile interviews including Sky News, who interviewed her live from Buckingham Palace.

‘Her Platinum Crown’ is released on Friday 30th September and is available to pre order here
